Participation of L. Ruiz de Elvira at the 7th AFSP (Association Française de Science Politique/ French Association of Political Science)’s OALA Capsule Video serie titled L’accès aux terrains « difficiles » (Access to « difficult terrain) on May 11th.
In democratic and even more so in authoritarian contexts, accessing certain « difficult » terrain (conflict zones, stigmatized respondent populations, « sensitive » subjects for political authorities, etc.) can be a real obstacle course. Laura Ruiz de Elvira describes in her talk the many problems and questions that arise in these particular fields and gives some advice.
